From the hundreds of projects Nimlok produces each year, we’ve collected the top exhibits from 2017 (not a small task, as we had so many) that are sure to inspire you for your next event.

Prudential Global Investment Management: beautiful inline exhibit
We love the details in this 10’ x 20’ inline exhibit, including the slanted, angular accents, which mirrors Prudential Global Investment Management’s branding. This exhibit was designed to be clean, bright (the backwall is illuminated!) and tech-friendly, making it an excellent inline display option. Designed by: Nimlok New York City
PlanGrid: goal-focused island exhibit
Every exhibitor needs a plan on the show floor, which is why PlanGrid’s island trade show exhibit made this year’s “Top Exhibits” list. The exhibit is attractive in design, featuring a trendy industrial-textured archway (check out our Top Trade Show Trends article), yet entirely focused on one goal: get people using PlanGrid’s mobile construction software. Exhibit graphic messaging focuses on signing users up in a matter of minutes, right on the trade show floor. Designed by: Arena Exhibits
CNC Machinery: bold hanging structure
Our favorite part of this stunning exhibit is the hanging sign. The sign is built with aluminum tubing for the frame, fabric pillowcase graphics and yellow plex panel accents. Puck lights are built into the hanging structure, allowing the exhibit below to be awash in light. Designed by: Nimlok New York City
Code 3: colorful 20′ x 40′ modular exhibit
It’s no wonder that this exhibit is a finalist in EXHIBITOR Magazine’s Fifth Annual Portable/Modular Awards (vote for it here!). Code 3’s colorful 20′ x 40′ modular exhibit incorporates large displays for heavy products, most of which require electricity. This display hides cords and creates wide spaces, allowing visitors to touch and experience products from the aisles or watch demonstrations inside the booth. Constructed from lightweight aluminum, this exhibit breaks down to a fraction of its size for simplified transit. Designed by: Nimlok St. Louis
Appearance Group: trade show exhibit idea for service companies
Appearance Group provides aircraft cleaning and detailing services to various names in the aviation industry, making their service a hard thing to “demonstrate” or “showcase” at trade shows. This 20′ x 20′ exhibit focused on creating a service experience on the show floor, featuring a clean, simple exhibit structure with story-telling visual elements. We love the simplicity of the booth as well as its unique use of lighting, which really brightens the space. Designed by: Red Door Three
SeaWatch: unique, brand-focused island exhibit
Talk about bringing your brand to life on the show floor! This eye-catching island exhibit brings to life SeaWatch’s iconic lighthouse featured in its logo. Additionally, the exhibit beautifully incorporates product samples (it’s not easy to build an attractive food service station), multimedia and product literature. The space also has semiprivate spaces for booth staff to meet one-on-one with clients. Designed by: Nimlok Maryland
ProShip: reconfigurable 20′ x 20′ modular exhibit
Beautiful design? Check. Integrated monitors? Check. Rigging free? Check. Oh, and it reconfigures into a 10′ x 20′ exhibit? This exhibit easily made this year’s “Top Exhibits” list for its versatility and style. We also really like the curved front reception counter, which adds that extra spice to the exhibit. Designed by: Nimlok Milwaukee
Aurora World: booth built to display a lot of product
This exhibit’s primary job was to showcase A TON of product – very colorful, distracting product – in a clean, sophisticated way on the show floor. The interior of the exhibit has more traditional shelving, but our eyes were drawn to the booth’s exterior product displays, which showcased a sampling of products to draw passersby into the space. Designed by: Design Group Exhibits
Target Freight: coolest trade show booth kiosks of the year
Our eyes were immediately drawn to the uniquely-shaped media kiosks in this exhibit. Featuring backlit top banners, monitor mounts and tables, these kiosks have no trouble standing out. Additionally, being that the exhibit is largely freestanding, it can easily reconfigure to fit into 10′ x 20′ and 10′ x 10′ exhibit space. Designed by: Nimlok Pittsburgh
Pager Duty: minimalist design, maximum impact
Featuring a black laminate exterior and light wood-printed interior, Pager Duty’s exhibit was an easy addition to our “Top Exhibits” list in 2017. The exhibit uses minimalist design and style elements, but still exerts a certain visual dominance. The interior of the exhibit is left largely open to accommodate crowds, but still enables booth staff to meet, qualify and consult with clients and prospects. Designed by: Arena Exhibits
Triumph Group: island exhibit incorporating technology
Technology at trade shows is nothing new, but we love how Triumph Group’s exhibit uses tech to tell its story, not distract from it. The exhibit features a large banner and projection-mapping technology at the front of the space and built-in touch and non-touch monitors throughout the rest of the exhibit. The tech elements work together to communicate Triumph Group’s message through a combination of served and user-searched content, helping to engage and educate prospects. Designed by: Nimlok Philadelphia
Comet: reconfigurable 20′ x 20′ modular exhibit – take two
We are a bit biased of exhibits that reconfigure, but love the look and overall impact of both the 20′ x 20′ and 10′ x 20′ versions of this exhibit.
Both configurations effectively showcase products while enabling booth staff to engage with visitors. Designed by: Nimlok Minnesota
